Liked the most: "Helping repairs at Liverpool Library"

"I had an amazing time at B-engineering and learnt a lot from the experience I had and got to meet some of the great engineers working there. It allowed me to experience real world job sites and learn more about the industry. "
Patrick was sent to Liverpool Central Library to help the service engineers, who were doing regular maintenance on the air conditioning systems. On the second day, they got there to find a broken pipe that was sending water to a washbasin in the public area where the cleaner kept their supplies.
They knew they had to fix the problem right away because it could hurt both the library staff and the public. This meant stopping the water flow, fixing the broken pipe, and adding local shut-off valves to help keep problems from happening again.
Patrick was busy and involved the whole time, and with the help of his mentor, he was in charge of many parts of the repair. He was so happy about the job that it made other people happy too. It was great to see how excited he was to learn not just what to do, but also why it was important. He cleaned up all the tools and trash after he was done with the repairs. This was very important because it was a place where people could see it.
He did more than they expected, which made them happy. He picked up the wet hoover and cleaned up the extra water on the carpet without being told to. This was a great example of being responsible and taking charge. It really showed how much the team cared and how important it is to keep the library safe and clean for visitors. Patrick's placement showed that he was not only good at his job, but also willing to go above and beyond to help customers. His placement mentor, Mark, had this to say:
Patrick impressed me with his politeness, enthusiasm, interest, and professionalism. I am confident that he will excel in any path he decides to pursue. Wishing you all the best, Patrick.
