A spotlight on a couple dancing the tango, with only their feet in view

This year, Paul Collier, the dad dancing enthusiast with two left feet who has decided to take on the challenge of a lifetime - Strictly #StRoccos. Contender Paul, B-engineering's Sales and Estimating Manager, will undergo 6 weeks of vigorous training with a professional ballroom dancer from #Cadmans Dance Centre.

Dancers begin with little to no professional experience and will learn one of the following Ballroom or Latin American dances: Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and the Jive, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, and Viennese Waltz from their assigned dance partners.

Which Dance Would You Like Paul To Do?

  • 0%Cha Cha Cha

  • 0%Samba

  • 0%Rumba

  • 0%Jive

The competition will conclude with an electrifying showdown as several dancers battle it out at the #Haydock Racecourse on December 1st! Each contender will reveal their chosen dance with jaw-dropping performances on the night, and judges will reveal their scores at the end of each performance.

As this is the biggest event of the year for the palliative care provider, each participant is challenged to raise over £1500 for the cause. This is no easy task, and with an audience of several hundred on the night, it's not for the faint-hearted. We extend our best wishes to all the dancers participating in this year's competition.

Whether you win or lose, we commend you for showcasing your talents. For more information about the cause, please visit: St Roccos Hospice | End of Life Care
