At B-engineering, we believe that mental health is not just a personal matter; it’s a collective responsibility. That’s why, this Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re proud to support the theme “Together for Good,” a powerful reminder that when we support one another, we all thrive.
Mental health can be a difficult topic to talk about, especially in the workplace. But we’re working to change that. At B-engineering, we’re creating a culture where open communication is encouraged, and no one has to struggle in silence.
We have established an open-door policy that encourages staff members to discuss their feelings with their coworkers or line managers at any time. Although we are not mental health specialists, we are committed to listening, providing support, and connecting individuals with appropriate services when necessary.

We're encouraging everyone on the team to take a break from their screens this week and participate in our Walk and Talk campaign. We encourage everyone to grab a coworker, get some fresh air, and have a meaningful conversation, whether that means taking a walk in Victoria Park or doing a fast round of the office.
We’ve even created a Strava group to help track our walks and celebrate the time we’re taking to connect, because sometimes, the best conversations happen on the move.
Mental health support doesn’t always have to be serious. We’ve added a few fun activities to the week to bring some joy and laughter into the workplace:
🎉 Joke of the Day Competition & the infamous Whitney Houston Drumming Challenge - if you know, you know.
This week is a great opportunity to shine a light on these efforts, but our commitment goes far beyond a single week. We’re continuously working to build a workplace where people feel safe, supported, and empowered to speak up, because mental health is health.
Together, we’re creating a culture where it’s okay to not be okay and where asking for help is seen as a strength, not a weakness.
