Summary of the role
With the support of your manager, you will effectively plan, control and monitor company assets across all business areas. You will be integral to ensure that Asset processes are provided to all staff, and are done so in a safe, efficient and professional way. Liaising with your Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that the data you are responsible for is captured in the systems in a timely fashion.
Job Summary
Manage asset registers & systems for engineers tools and fleet, including maintenance, test, and inspection plans, including physical tagging of items.
Establish engineer tooling and fleet audit processes, carry out periodic audits & inspections, and monitor and record outputs of management audits.
Proactively plan and coordinate tooling and vehicle maintenance & repairs, being prepared to collect and swap items with the engineers at out-of-office locations.
Establish and maintain sign-out procedures for temporary or permanent tooling or fleet
Establish stock records for PPE, uniforms, goods receipts, and stored items, and manage sign-out and allocation records.
Manage the purchase and sale of tools, general stock, and fleet.
Carryout and maintain PAT testing records.
Establish the stock audit process and carry out periodic audits and inspections.
Monitor supply chain asset maintenance records to ensure compliance to business processes.
Monitor driver behaviour, fleet consumables, fuel consumption, mileage, and advise of trends.
Monitor the insurance status of the fleet and coordinate claims.
Ability to problem solve live operational situations and advise management or escalate issues clearly articulating the problem
Job Overview
Building relationships with clients, engineers, and management through a polite manner and organised delivery and coordination of verbal and written communications between parties.
Monitor operational progress through SLA’s and KPI’s and effectively communicate the status to managers and at requested intervals.
To implement business processes and assign deliverables to achieve, monitor and report on progress to your manager, while filtering key information to operational departmental management.
To support the mentorship and progression of the growing team of administrators, championing best working practices and the critical focus on efficient, safe, and ethical ways of working.
Achieving key goals and objectives set by your line manager.
You will be based at head office and visit off-site as per reactive operational requirements.
To be responsible for your part in achieving overall departmental success, compliance, and continuous improvement that meet the high standard of processes within the business and drive the need that these are followed by all members of the team.

Essential Skills:
Work experience in asset or fleet management for 3 years plus
Good PC skills, especially asset management software systems and its continuous improvement
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Organisational and time-management skills.

Vehicle mechanic trained
