About the Company
The role is to ensure that all electrical installations are installed to the industry’s highest standard and are done so in a safe, professional way. The role specialises in electrical works associated with reducing carbon emissions in commercial premises, and typical works include lighting, power, HVAC and BMS controls wiring, solar PV wiring, and EV chargers. Role requirements
Ensuring your electrical installations are completed to an industry-leading standard.
Ensuring timekeeping is managed and all works are commenced on time.
Security and maintenance of all company property involved with your projects, including vehicles and tools.
Must be experienced in the QS of NICEIC
Understanding and following of company-issued RAMS. Being proactive to manage changes in these when they occur and work with your project managers to revise, update, and follow.
Attending team-building events for your division when required to.
Attending workshops, training, and meetings as proposed by your divisional manager when required.
Working overtime when required.
Working out of town when required.
Proactively looking to improve your skills and work with the company to ensure your constant personal development.
Ensuring company uniforms and PPE are worn during working hours.
Ensuring correct storage of materials and equipment within the workshop/stores.
Taking part in social and charity initiatives of our business and our clients businesses.
Job-specific reporting on all projects using hard and digital software
Experience and knowledge of Solar PV, BMS wiring and HVAC controls is beneficial but not essential
Person Specification
Must have NVQ LV 3 in electrical installations.
Must be qualified for 2391-52 inspection and testing.
Must have 18th edition.
Full driving license held for 12 months with no more than 6 points.
Minimum 5 years of industry experience with at least 3 years working as a lead engineer.
Must have a passion for quality for installations and be willing to continually improve themselves.
Formal qualification in solar PV is beneficial but not essential.
