Case Study:
Warehouse Heating
Project
B-engineering was tasked with reactivating an inactive warehouse facility by designing, supplying, and installing a new heating system. The existing high level gas fired air handling units were not functioning properly and were nearing the end of their life, so they needed to be decommissioned.
Delivery
Utilising our in-house engineers, we decommissioned all 8 defunct units and made the gas service safe for work to commence.

Working alongside our specialists, the high-level units were removed from the roof level and safely dismantled for recycling.

A series of new, smaller, more efficient heaters were specified and strategically located to offer flexibility of use.

Coupled with destratification fans to ensure we maintained environmental conditions
Benefits
Utilising a series of smaller heaters, we are able to ensure all areas have flexibility of use and increase energy efficiency.

These units ensure heating is evenly distributed from multiple areas offering a more effective system then the centrally located units previously installed.
